Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons – The Sacrifice of Praise

Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons The Sacrifice of Praise

Today’s message by Archbishop Duncan-Williams of the Action Chapel International Ministry is  titled  “The Sacrifice of Praise”.

The Archbishop in this message teaches us on the power of praise. He admonishes us that we should enter his gates with thanksgiving and not just come before God with request. When you come before him, recognize who he is and that is God all by himself and, that he can do anything whether he does it or not.

It is a wrong attitude when our prayer is filled with complaints about one or the other, without thanking him for the one he has done. We keep being careful about everything but we are not praising God. Let us stop focusing on the negative things and focus on his goodness in our life. We need to repent of the attitude.

He also pointed out that one of the reasons why we must praise him,  is the fact that when you know what God is capable of doing and you come before him, first of all you acknowledge him for who he is and what he can do.

The sacrifice of praise is called a sacrifice because we find it difficult to praise God. We do not have the attitude for gratitude. When things are very tough and difficult, we find it difficult to praise God, what we do instead is to complain and murmur.
God requires you to praise hi at all times. In difficult seasons and when things are smooth. This is because with God, all things are possible.

This is  a message that you will enjoy.
