Beth Moore Implores Parents To Love Their Children: Pastor Beth Moore has taken to social media to implore parents to love their children.
The senior pastor of the Living Proof Ministries, shared this message on Twitter where she admonished parents on the importance of loving their children regardless of anything. She pointed out in her message that it was not just enough to love them but to tell them and show them that they are loved.
Sharing this on Twitter, Pastor Moore said “Love your kid. No matter how you differ. Love your kid. Tell them you do. Show them you do….”
The message was not just for parents to love their children but to love them regardless of their choices and how they differ.
“…Make sure they know, even when you don’t love their choices, even when they don’t share your convictions, that you love them and you are there for them. Right there for them”
She also said that it was important that while loving your child, it is imperative that a parent is present for the child.
Pastor Beth Moore who was a victim of childhood sexual abuse within her home is an advocate for sexual abuse survivors. She became an advocate for sexual abuse survivors after the #MeToo movement and a report in her local newspaper which described 700 cases of sexual abuse within the Southern Baptist Convention.
Today, Moore is sharing her story, listening to other survivors, and urging the church to examine crimes and coverups.
