Bishop Paul Morton and Wife Celebrate 47th Anniversary: Love and faith were in the air on December 18 as the founder of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Bishop Paul S. Morton, and his beloved wife, Pastor Debra Brown Morton, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.
The couple took to social media to share their joy with the world, prompting an outpouring of love and congratulations.
In a heartwarming message shared on X formerly known as Twitter, Paul Morton expressed gratitude to God for his wife and the journey they have shared.
“Hey Everybody,” the message began, it doesn’t get any better than this. To have and to hold My Beautiful Queen @PastorDBMorton as we celebrate today 47 Years of Marriage. Thank You, Lord, for giving me One made just for me Thanks everybody for the kind tweets. We Love You.”

In the like manner, Debra took to her X handle to share a heartfelt anniversary message for her husband. In the resonating tweet, she expressed gratitude to all who prayed for them on their anniversary. She also acknowledges God as the stronghold of their enduring marriage.
“As many of you know my hubby Bishop Paul S. Morton & I are Celebrating 47th Anniversary to all of you for all the prayers,” Debby wrote. “Those prayers WORK!!! People are shocked & amazed at 47 years but we know that God is at the Center of it All.”
She further praised her husband admitting that he was more than all she requested from God for a husband.
“It also doesn’t hurt when God say, he’s the one I sent that will fulfill ur requests – a man that loves God, has integrity & will take care of his family! Well I Got Waaaay More! Good Looking, Provider, ShoNuff Singer, Preacher & Leader! Thx Honey,” she wrote. “Hope I filled ur requests,” she conclusively added.
