Champion Forest Church, led by pastor Jarrett Stephens, has, in a historic move, planted Spanish-speaking pastors in churches across the United States.

On the third and final day of Forest Church’s recent conference, the church took to social media to announce that it is planting Spanish-speaking pastors across the US in a bid to spread the gospel.

“On this bonus third day of our preaching conference, we are investing in our amigos, Spanish church planters. These faithful leaders are being sent near and far to take the gospel in Español, beginning new works for the kingdom. Thank you for praying,” the church wrote on Wednesday X formerly known as a Twitter post.

In a Wednesday X post, however, the senior pastor disclosed that Forest Church’s Spanish-speaking pastor planting was done in partnership with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), the domestic missions agency of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

“This right here may be the thing I’m most proud God is allowing me to be a part of in these days. Incredible how he is using our church in partnership with @NAMB_SBC to plant Spanish-speaking pastors in churches all across the US,” Stephen wrote in the  X post.

Referring to Ramon Medina, who has been the Global Pastor of the Spanish congregation at Champion Forest Baptist Church (CFBC) since 2006, as “my brother”, Stephen acknowledged that “it’s a joy to serve next to” him.

Earlier this month, Forest Church announced a record-breaking number” of 755 baptisms at the end of its third consecutive year.

“CF Family, as we close out another incredible church year (October 1–September 30), we can’t help but stand in awe of what God has done in our community. For the third year in a row, we’ve seen a record-breaking number of baptisms—755 souls publicly declaring their faith in Christ!,” The church announced it in an X Post.

Speaking about the record-breaking number of baptisms, Stephens said that “these aren’t just numbers; they are lives forever changed, families transformed, and testimonies of God’s relentless grace.”
