Christian Killed, Others Kidnapped in Different Regions of Nigeria:

According to a recent report, terrorists killed one Christian and kidnapped 19 people in northern Nigeria on Saturday, September 30, a day after gunmen in the country’s southwest stopped a church bus and seized 25 people.

According to a local, the attackers broke into the mostly Christian Angwan Waku hamlet in Kaduna State’s Kufana neighborhood of Kajuru County on Saturday morning.

“A Christian villager was killed during the incident, and 19 other Christians, who include women and children, were kidnapped by the terrorists,” said Ben Yunana.

Area resident Tanimu Makaddas, an assistant to the Kufana area leader, identified the slain villager as Kukah Yari.

Makkaddas identified those kidnapped as Yakubu Abba, Basiru Maiwada, Keziya Silas, Peace Silas, Lami Istifanus, Habila Musa, Bege Liazarus, Joshua Abuki, Juliana Habila, Stella Yohanna, Genesis Ezikiel, Deborah Ezikiel, Salomi Dutse, Rifkatu Zaphaniah, Tamar Liazarus, Ejah Habila, Rejoice Ezikeil, Catharine Silas, and Gundu Rubu.

“Another villager, Aboki Dogo, was shot and wounded,” Makaddas told the News in a text message. “He’s currently being treated at a hospital.”

According to reports, terrorists and Fulani herders have been attacking the predominantly Christian southern region of Kaduna State nonstop for over a decade.

In southwest Nigeria’s Ondo state, 17 of 25 church members kidnapped on Friday (Sept. 29) remain in captivity after eight escaped their captors, police said.

A church member, Sunday Emmanuel, said that “the terrorists stopped the bus carrying members of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), a Pentecostal congregation in the Oke Igan neighborhood of Akure, who were traveling to Ifon, Ose County, for a funeral”.
