Craig Groeschel Reveals The Secret of His Thriving Marriage

Craig Groeschel Reveals The Secret of His Thriving Marriage: Life Church founder and senior pastor Craig Groeschel has taken to social media to reveal the Secret behind his over 30-year-old thriving Marriage.

In a statement shared Friday on his Instagram page, Groeschel disclosed that a simple quote by the columnist Ann Landers was the secret that unlocked a treasure trove of happiness in his union.

The quote which reads “Neglect the rest of the world if you have to, but never neglect each other” served as a constant reminder to him and his wife that one’s spouse should come first in life. Groeschel however  acknowledged the significant impact of the quote on his marriage.

“When we were first married, we read a quote by the columnist Ann Landers that helped set the tone for our marriage together,” Groeschel wrote. “The quote made such an impact on us that we posted it for daily viewing in the prime spot in the house: on the refrigerator held up by a magnet.”

“The quote that helped build the foundation of our marriage was this: “Neglect the rest of the world if you have to, but never neglect each other.” More than three decades later, we enjoy the blessings of a very strong and intimate marriage.”

Although Groeschel acknowledged that their journey, like any marriage, wasn’t without its challenges, he noted however that they fiercely guarded their time together, prioritizing connection even when facing daily pressures.

In addition to prioritizing each other, Groeschel emphasized keeping Jesus at the center of one’s marriage is an essential foundation of a happy and fulfilling marriage.

” But it hasn’t come without a lot of work. Every day, the pressing priorities of the world tempt us to pursue meaning everywhere but in our marriage. Even though we don’t always get it right, we work hard to prioritize our time together. It will never be easy,” Pastor Groeschel wrote.

“And it will always take two of you working toward this goal. But if you make Jesus the center of your marriage and both work to make each other the top priority, you might discover some of the life’s greatest relational blessing.”
