Pastor Dollar teaches us in this message about “is Jesus enough?” Many of us claim that Jesus is enough, but we keep adding other things to him. We are not quite confident that Jesus has done more than enough for us by dying on the cross. If Jesus is enough, we have to depend on him and have trust in him that he got the job done. We have to know that Jesus has done all the work for us by giving us salvation. We have to know that Jesus is enough for our salvation, and we should stop trying to get things done that Jesus has already done. Jesus is enough for our healing and our deliverance; all we have to do is believe in him. Jesus is enough for us to get to heaven, but we keep coming up with qualifications to get there. The only thing we have to do in order to get into heaven is receive Jesus Christ in our lives.
We have to believe that Jesus can change our desires in our lives. We are not going to behave the same way when we receive Jesus Christ in our lives. Christianity is a journey, and there are a lot of things that we have to master and learn in order to behave better. We have to know that Jesus Christ is enough for us and that he has taken care of everything in our lives. As Christianity is not about going to church alone, we have to behave like Jesus Christ because we’re his representatives.
