Enjoying Everyday Life shares this new message and sermon by Joyce Meyer titled “Is Your Get-Up-and-Go Gone?” (Pt. 2). The text for the message is from Acts 9:5.
Pastor Joyce teaches us in this message about “Is It Your Get-Up-and-Go?” We have to know that when we get old, there are two things that are: to have “a purpose and someone to love.” A lot of people get depressed because they don’t have a purpose. Because only God can call anybody at anytime. Apostle Paul was Saul, but God changed him; he does not deserve visitation from God. He got a visitation from God because God has a purpose for him to change lives. We have to increase our faith because we can’t get anything from God without it. So are you sitting down and waiting to see what God’s going to do, or are you actively pressing in with your faith and believing God to do great things in your life? What are you expecting, and we should have big expectations? We should not be negative about anything but have a big expectation that something great is going to happen in our lives. Dream big dreams, and we have to pray bold prayers. Psalm 27:13–14 says, “What would have happened to me had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living?”
Thank God, we don’t have to wait till we go to heaven to see good things; we can see good things right now in our lives. We have to believe that God is able to do great things in our lives. Having faith in God is an important thing we have to do because, with our faith, we can have anything. We have to expect God to do something amazing and shocking in our lives every day. Why not have big dreams? You can say that’s impossible, but there is nothing impossible to God. We should allow God to use us to do great things in order to improve people’s lives. It is not good for us to do nothing; we have to do something good.
