Creflo Dollar: Living Life At God’s Altitude

We bring you a message today from Pastor Creflo Dollar, titled “Living Life at God’s Altitude.” Philippians 1:6 is the text for the message.”Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Pastor Dollar teaches us that as Christians, we should learn how to live life according to God’s altitude. Because God is the one who started the work within you, and he’s the one to finish it. God saved you by his grace when you believed, but it was a gift. We cannot claim responsibility for the salvation. You might be the one who made the decision to be saved, but you are not the one who saved yourself.

The only thing required to access the work of grace is your belief; we have to believe so that God can work, and saving you is a gift.God is not only committed to the beginning of what he started in you; he will also continue that work. God will discipline your life to the point where you’re doing only what is right by the grace of God. Maybe there are bad things you used to do that do not bother you, but once you receive God, they will start to bother your spirit.

God will be the one who moves and works on the inside of us, and the work will continue until Jesus comes and we are made perfect. We are disciplined by grace. God never saves a person and then leaves him to himself to finish the good work; God is the one to finish the work, not the person.

When we were newly born again, we had the mindset that we were the ones who had to do the work of improving ourselves, but God was the one to discipline us. That is why Jesus Christ gave us the Holy Spirit when he was leaving the earth. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, and he’s the one to teach us things that we need to know.
