Dr. David Jeremiah who is the founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries and also the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church heard God’s calling on his life at a very early age. He was birthed on February 13th, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio.
His father, Dr. James T. Jeremiah, was the Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. In 1953 he became the President of Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio.
Dr. Jeremiah listened to God’s call, and in 1981 he and his family moved to California where he became the senior pastor of Scott Memorial Baptist Church which is now Shadow Mountain Community Church.
Today, David Jeremiah has Radio and Television outlets in many locations across the world. He is in for ministration and winning souls for God.
When Dr. Jeremiah began his ministry at Shadow Mountain, he felt God’s calling to continue the broadcast ministry he started in Fort Wayne and in 1982, Turning Point Ministries was birthed.
Turning Point’s 30-minute radio program is today heard on more than 2,200 stations worldwide. Turning Point also launched a television program in 1982 in San Diego and went nationwide in 2000.
