Fresh Life Church Pastor, Levi Lusko Celebrates 20 Years of Marriage
Fresh Life Church pastor Levi Lusko celebrates a special milestone this week, marking his 20 years of marriage with his wife Jennie Lusko.
In a touching social media post, Lusko shared a photo from their wedding day, recounting the powerful moment he saw Jennie for the first time as a bride.
“On this day in 2004, you appeared at the back of the amphitheater, radiant and beautiful in your wedding dress,” Lusko wrote, addressing Jennie. “Tears ran down my cheeks as it dawned on me what an incredible thing it is that Jesus compares his love for the church to a groom caring for his bride.”
He described feeling an overwhelming desire to serve, cherish, and protect Jennie, highlighting a love that has only deepened over the years.
“Twenty years later, you excite me. Captivate me. My heart is more stirred by you than ever, only it’s deeper, more complex, comfortable, well-worn, proven,” Lusko expressed. “You are interesting to me, and I am at home by your side. I can’t get enough of you. Your laugh, your encouragement. Your friendship. You have helped me become the man I am.”
In a separate post featuring a video montage of their wedding and happy moments together, Lusko announced a giveaway to celebrate their anniversary. He offered signed copies of his book, “The Marriage Devo,” which aims to provide guidance and encouragement for couples at all stages of their relationship.
“To enter to win a set of signed copies of The Marriage Devotional, let us know how long you’ve been married,” the post instructs. “Just drop a comment with your wedding date or the date of your upcoming wedding and tell us the best piece of marriage advice you’ve ever received.”
The anniversary held additional significance coming just two weeks after the passing of Lusko’s father who served as his best man on his wedding day.
