I want to remind you of the reassuring fact that God is always with us today and He listens. Whatever we are dealing with, God is by our side, listening to us, and providing for us. In the stress and challenges of everyday life, it can be simple to overlook this truth. We could feel lost or abandoned and doubt whether God is truly listening to our prayers and the pleas of our hearts. However, let me reassure You, my dear friends, that God is constantly attentive.
Reminder That God Listens
In the book of Psalms, we are reminded that “the Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). This means that when we cry out to God, He hears us, and draws near to us. He is not a distant and uncaring God, but a God who loves us and is intimately involved in our lives. We can also take comfort in the words of Jesus, who promised to always be with us. In Matthew 28:20, He said, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This promise is not just for the disciples but for us today. Jesus is with us in every moment, guiding us and giving us strength.
Naturally, this does not imply that everything will always go as expected or that life will be easy. But since God is in charge of everything and will never leave us, we can trust that He will never let us down. So let’s remember that today God is always with us and listening to us. With the knowledge that He hears our prayers and is aware of our needs, let’s turn to Him in prayer. Let’s also reach out our hands to those around us, listening with compassion and comforting anyone who may be feeling lost or alone.
