Renowned Author and Harvest Church founder Pastor Greg Laurie is thrilled to announce the animated arrival of his beloved cartoon characters, Ben Born Again, and his loyal canine companion, YellowDog.
This exciting project has been in the works for several months. Laurie believes that animation is the perfect medium to connect with kids and teens, making complex spiritual concepts understandable and impactful.
His vision for Ben Born Again and YelloDog however is to inspire and uplift young viewers. Through positive messages and relatable experiences, these animated pups aim to share the Gospel freshly and engagingly, leaving a lasting impact on young hearts and minds.
“I am excited to announce that my cartoon character, Ben Born Again and his buddy, YellowDog are coming in animated form,” Laurie announced in a Wednesday Instagram post. “We have been working on this for a few months. It is my heart to reach younger people with the Gospel and one of the best ways to do that is through cartoons!.”
Greg Laurie continues to be a leading voice in the Christian community. His Career transcends preaching and writing. He is also a filmmaker. He is one of the key figures whose conversion story helped inspire the “Jesus Revolution” film released earlier this year.
In a subsequent Instagram post, Laurie highlighted the profound reward of guiding new believers on their spiritual journeys. He described seeing someone embrace faith and embark on their path as one of the most fulfilling experiences a Christian can have.
He however encouraged Christians to donate generously to church projects such as “Ben Born Again” and “Jesus Revolution” as a means to guide new believers into faith.
“One of the most fulfilling things a Christian can experience is to help a new believer get started on their walk with the Lord. When you give by the end of the year, your gift can be a double blessing for those new believers in 2024 through media projects like “Ben Born Again” and “Jesus Revolution.” He wrote.
