The mission arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries has affiliated with Full Gospel Church, a local church in Sofia Bulgaria to bring relief to the displaced  Ukrainian war victims in Bulgaria.

This was disclosed in Joyce Meyer’s Sunday Instagram Post where several photos of the refugees were shared.

“Today, our media team spent the day at a wonderful little church in Sofia, Bulgaria, where a local pastor and his wife began reaching out to Ukrainian refugees who were pouring into their city when the war started”

“Hand of Hope has had the privilege of working with Pastor Filip Rashev and the congregation at Full Gospel Church of Sofia to distribute food and essential supplies to the refugees. We are grateful to play even a small part in helping these precious people,” It stated.

Meyer Ministries distributed 160  blessing buckets to families on Sunday.

“160 bags were prepared today and given away to families. Some of them contained diapers, and others had staples like sugar, pasta, and toilet paper. Joyce’s book Tell Them I Love Them, which is full of encouragement from God’s Word, was also available for free in their language.”

The refugees appreciated the gifts. They note that “not only do the parcels bring practical help but also encouragement that someone cares and sees them. It’s an act of kindness that goes a long, long way.”

As customary to the Ministries, they expressed gratitude to their supporters. “To our partners who are supporting this work, we thank you! the statement read. “As you look at the faces in these photos, know that you are making a difference in their lives.” It concluded.

The week before, ministry founder Joyce Meyer shared a personal update about her ill health. She announced the cancellation of all her forthcoming conferences and events through August.

“I want to let you know about a challenge I am currently dealing with personally, Meyer wrote. “A few weeks ago, after an outpatient back surgery, I experienced a complication and then suffered a subsequent fall and broke a bone in my leg near the ankle. I will be fine but need some time for physical therapy and to get back on my fee. I’m sorry to share that we are canceling my conferences and events through August so I can focus on recovery.”

She however noted that Hand of Hope activities and her television broadcast will continue.

“The work of Joyce Meyer Ministries including my TV program and our Hand of Hope outreaches will continue during this time. So please come see me on Enjoying Everyday Life,” Joyce Meyer wrote.
