Pastor Steven Furtick shares this new message and sermon titled “How To Keep Your Faith In A Desperate Situation” where he teaches that for anyone that is facing a bad report, you can get through this. You just need to take another look at what you have. This is an excerpt from his message “The Facts Aren’t Final”
Steven Furtick said he has personal issues, a personal God, personal fears and personal phobias. He said he loves the phrase used in the Baptist church: ‘to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior’. It’s something used in the Baptist church to mean he is Lord and Savior whether you say he is or not, but when it gets personal to you, that means you go to him to save you, not a pill bottle.
That means you go to him to save you, not a plastic card where you spend money you don’t have to buy stuff you don’t need to impress people who aren’t even paying attention to you because they’re doing the same thing. You go to Jesus to save you. You go to Jesus to deliver you. You go to Jesus to speak to you, not potato chips.
