Jentezen Franklin: Moments That Mark Us

We bring to you today’s message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin. This powerful message is one that is titled “Moments That Mark Us”. The text for the message is from Genesis 32:22. “And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his 11 sons, and he crossed over the river of Jabach.”

Pastor Jentezen teaches us about moments that mark us. In most things in our lives, there are moments that are meant to improve us. Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day, and when he saw that he did not prevail against him, he touched the socket of his hip, and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as he wrestled with him. He says he wrestled with a man, but it was not a man; it was Jesus; it was God. He was not even wrestling with an angel; it was Jesus who said, speaking of Jesus, let me go for the day breaks, but he said, speaking of Jesus, let me go for the day breaks, but he said, so he said to him, “What is your name?” and he said, “My name is Jacob,” and he said your name shall no longer be called.

Jacob, but your new name is Israel, for you have struggled with God and with men and have prevailed. This is what he’s saying: “Everything Changes Here Today in This Spot for You.” Jacob said, “Tell me.” Then Jacob asked, “Tell me your name.” I prayed, and he said, “Why is it that you ask about my name?” and he blessed him there. There are moments in our lives that will mark our blessings. We have to be determined and depend on God with all our hearts.

This is a message that will inspire you.
