Jeremy Foster Praises Church of Whitestone Impressive Launch
The much-anticipated launch of the Church of Whitestone unfolded Sunday, drawing a crowd and generating enthusiastic praise from attendees including Jeremy Foster former lead pastor of Hope City Church.
Led by Christian music stars Tauren Wells and his wife Lorna, the church officially opened its doors in Texas, promising a vibrant community centered on faith and personal growth.
Among those expressing their awe was Jeremy Foster, who shared his experience on social media. He praised the “amazing job” of the team, the “powerful worship,” and Tauren’s impactful message.
“Such a massive honor to witness the historical launch of @yourwhitestone with our friends @taurenwells & @lornabrittany. The team did an amazing job, the worship was powerful, and Tauren’s message hit deep. ‘Do not allow your past or your pain to label your purpose’. I needed it,” Foster acknowledged.
Foster however encourages all to participate in the church’s events expressing hope for the church’s positive impact in the future. “This is the kind of church that if you are in driving distance (Austin TX) you should go. Of course, you could also just fly in for the weekend and visit,” he stated. “It was that amazing. I can’t wait to see what God does in the next year here,” he added.
Foster conclusively noted that he is reminded again how much he loved the church and the people in it. “What a blessing and honor to be in the building,” he exclaimed.
Following his confession to adultery, Jeremy Foster resigned in Jan 2022 from his position as the lead pastor of Hope City Church in Houston, Texas.
He became less active on social media after his resignation. However, in a March 18 Instagram post, he broke the long silence announcing that he is now “at peace,” has remarried, and wants to help people with the gifts God has given him. Foster acknowledged his mistakes in the video and further tendered an apology to all the persons he had offended.
In December 2023 however, Foster shared his experience of overcoming “significant failure” and how hope fueled his comeback.
“It took me, a full year of studying my failures to really grasp that hope is what keeps me going. I’m so grateful that I can place my hope in God and knowing that my purpose is not completed yet,” he admitted.
