TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

TODAY’S WORD:
Joel Osteen Blog teaches that you are God’s representative in this earth. When you follow the Word of God and allow Him to work in your life, you are letting your light shine. When you are good to people and show them kindness, even when they don’t deserve it, you are shining your light. When you smile and keep a good attitude, even when things don’t go your way, you are setting an example so that people will glorify God in heaven.
Notice this Scripture says, “they will see your good works.” People aren’t impressed by our knowledge or what we say; people are drawn to God by our good works. Today, ask the Lord to show you ways to share His goodness with others. Look for opportunities to let your light shine everywhere you go—at home, at work, in the grocery store, at the gym. There’s always an opportunity to be an example of God’s goodness!
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for choosing me to be Your representative. Show me how to let my light shine. Help me be an example of Your love and grace everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.
What’s On Your Throne
God wants to reign in your life in a new way. He wants to show you his favor like you’ve never seen. But are you letting worry, offense, or a problem consume your mind to where you’re not giving God any thought? You see, what you constantly think about or give your attention to, is what you’re putting on the throne. Life is too short to live worried, overwhelmed by problems, and upset. This message will help you live more praise minded as you let God reign over your circumstances and fight your battles. If you will put God on the throne and let Him reign, then He will rain down blessings, favor, healing, and vindication.
Your Father’s World
Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you. In fact, He’s already planned out all of your days. He didn’t create you to be ordinary, average, and to just make it through life. No, Joel wants to show you in this exciting message how God can’t wait to give you His world. Luke 12:32 tells us that, “It is the Father’s good pleasure to the give you the kingdom.” His world is big! His kingdom is abundant, full of favor, joy, peace and opportunity. Because you are His most prized possession, He’s going to take you places you have never dreamed. He’s going to open doors bigger than you can imagine!
