Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joel Osteen at the Lakewood Church Sunday Service titled “Your Time is Coming.”
Pastor Joel teaches us that while we are waiting, there will be many tests. If you’re single and believing to meet someone, you might find yourself in a situation that will cause you to give up. When we are believing God for a dream or goal, we need to have the right attitude, knowing that if God can do it for them, he can do it for you. You have to know that your own time is coming, and don’t go around unhappy and bitter; God is planning something for you. When your dreams take a long time to come true, it’s because something greater and better is coming. Don’t despise the waiting period; God knows what’s best for us. God makes us wait sometimes because he wants to prepare us for the weight of blessings that are on the way. God’s promises for us will surely come to pass; we just have to wait for the right time. We need greater maturity and character, which is why God is allowing us to wait so that we can develop enough. We all want everything fast, but God knows when the right time is. One of the best things we can do is trust God’s timing in our lives. When God is ready, all the forces of darkness cannot hold him back. God has pointed to a time to bring a promise to pass.
The Devil will try to convince you that God has forgotten you and that you are missing out. Don’t listen to him. God will make up for the time that seems lost. No matter what you think or feel that you are missing out on, don’t worry; God has a great plan for you. The right person will see you, your business will get better, you’ll get healed, and you’ll be out of debt. Just believe that God is in control.
