Pastor Lisa teaches us in this Sunday service how we can identify God’s voice in our lives. God is willing to talk to us in every area of our lives. God wants to lead us and help us through life in order for us to be better. We don’t have to go through life alone; we have to depend on God, and he has given us the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us. God has the wisdom to impact our lives, and he wants to direct our steps so that we can make better decisions. In today’s culture, we have so many voices speaking into our lives from different directions, telling us what to do and what not to do. The only voice we have to pay attention to is the voice of the Lord concerning our lives. Everywhere we turn, there are voices tempting us to follow the ways of celebrities and politicians. Some voices are trying to make us follow the way of the world, and some of our friends don’t have our best interests at heart when they tell us what wrong we have to do. Those evil voices are trying to pull us away from the purpose and blessings that God has for us in our lives. When we listen to the voice of God and follow the way he has planned for us, things will get better for us.
We have to know that we don’t have to live alone; God has given us the Bible and the Holy Spirit. When we read our Bible and listen to the Holy Spirit, we will be good Christians. We have to have a close relationship with God when we can identify his voice in our lives. When the Devil sends negative voices, we have to refuse to pay attention to them because they are meant to destroy our lives. The Devil has come to steal and destroy, but Jesus has come to give us life in abundance.
