Joel Osteen’s Sermon For Today – Podcast
How You Think Determines How You Live!
God didn’t create you to live an average, ordinary life. He has something extraordinary in store for you. You’re not going to “just get by” or “barely make it”; you’re destined for growth, for gain, for greatness! Think about His promises rather than the problems. Get ready for God to take you further than you ever thought possible.
Are you letting the little things steal your joy? We all have opportunities to get upset and go around frustrated each day. But in the big picture, most of the things that are upsetting us don’t really matter. Joel wants to teach you how to keep your joy no matter what goes on around you.
Psalm 94:13 teaches us that God gives us the power to remain calm in times of adversity. We can’t control how other people act or what happens to us, but we can control how we respond. Don’t let the small things keep you from seeing the gift of each day. Live from a place of peace and joy each day and watch your life change for the better.
You can’t control what people do, what they say, but you can control how you respond. Don’t give away your joy. You are as happy as you want to be.
Quit letting negative comments upset you. They wouldn’t be talking about you if you weren’t making a difference.
Circumstances may be against you, but the Most High God is for you.
Jesus didn’t come and give His life so we could barely get by and live off the leftovers. He came that we might live an abundant life.
Circumstances may be against you, but the Most High God is for you. He’s called Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord our provider.
