Pastor Joel teaches us in this message about reaching the promises of God concerning our lives. Most of us are waiting for dreams to come true, to meet the right person, or for our health to turn around. When it’s been a long time and we don’t see any sign of the dream coming to pass, it’s easy to get discouraged and think it will never work out. God said in Isaiah, “When the time is right, the Lord will make it happen.” When God put a promise in your heart and gave you that dream, he determined the right time to bring it to pass. God has already planned your healing, your breakthrough, and your promotion. We have to know that there will be moments in the future when things will fall into place. We should not allow the enemy to trick us into thinking that our dreams will never come true or that God doesn’t love us. God is always there for us, and he has planned all the things that we need in our lives.
When our dreams take a long time to come true, we have to know that God is always in control. All that concerns us also concerns us. The right people will show up, and the opportunity will find you when you trust God’s timing. What we are believing for may not have happened yet, but we have to understand that God has the right timing. Everything has been planned by the creator of the universe, and God is always in control of our lives. We have to know that God is writing our story and that he has planned everything.
