When we get serious with God, that’s when He makes us live the life that Jesus Christ made available for us. God has a word in due season for each person that he brought here on earth. No matter how serious we think we are with God, we can make a little more effort. We have to know and understand that just because you go to church, that doesn’t mean that Christ is the center of your life.
Being the main center of our lives is what God wants; he wants to be the center of everything. God wants to be invited into and involved in everything that you do. Jesus didn’t die so we could all have a religion; he died so we could have a personal, intimate, and powerful relationship with God through him. If you’re looking to find out who’s spiritual, don’t look in the church, because we all get spiritual when we get there.
We must know and understand that if the devil’s going to stir anything up, it’s going to be before you get to church so that you’ll not have peace for the word of God to take root in your life. We have to fall in love with Jesus; that’s when we’ll know that God cares about every single thing that we do. We have to always remember that God not only loves you, he is also in love with us.
