We bring to you today’s teaching from Pastor Joyce Meyer, titled “How Are You Using God’s Gift?” Pastor Joyce teaches us: What are we doing with the resources that God has given to us?
What are the resources? Time, money, talent, abilities, and life in general are all resources that God has given us, and we have to make the most of them. We have to be careful with what we are doing with our lives, time, money, talents, and abilities that God has given to us. If we get to the end of our lives, are we going to be proud? We should be able to spend the resources that have been given to us well and not waste them.
There are so many things in the world that can distract us and pull us in the wrong direction. We only have one life to live, and we must all consider what we give. Jesus does not approve of waste, so we must make good use of the resources he has given us. Every day that goes by is a day that we’re not going to get back again, so we should spend our resources properly. We need to have a plan for every day of our lives about the things we’re going to do for ourselves. There are many things we need to do to take care of ourselves, but it is not a waste of time because the better you take care of yourself, the longer you will live and the better you will feel. Anything that you really want to do, you will make time for it. We should pay attention to what we are spending our resources on. We are always spending something. Time is a resource that God has given us, and we should use it wisely because once we use it, we are not going to get it back. We should think about the things we spend our time on.
