Joyce Meyer Ministries has in partnership with God’s Pit Crew, hosted another event to prepare ahead of disaster, buckets filled with individual essential items. This was disclosed in a Saturday Instagram post by Joyce Meyer, president of the ministries. God’s Pit Crew however is, “a non-profit, faith-based crises response team of over 1,000 volunteers who wish to serve others in their time of need.”
“Today, in partnership with @godspitcrew, Joyce Meyer Ministries hosted another Blessing Bucket event,” She wrote. According to Meyer, about 200 buckets of blessings were filled with 23 different essential items mostly needed after a disaster. “With the help of some amazing volunteers, we filled over 2,000 Blessing Buckets. Each contains 23 separate items most needed after a natural disaster,” she noted.
The bucket’s content includes “vital necessities like food, bottled water, hygiene items. Emergency items like a flashlight, plus a Bible along with a Joyce Meyer book filled with God’s Word and encouragement” Meyer listed. “A personal note of love and encouragement letting each recipient know that they are not alone and we’re praying for them” she added also.
Furthermore, Joyce Meyer also expressed gratitude to the ministry Partners, divulging that the event was made possible through their support.
“This outreach wouldn’t be possible without our partners who make it all happen,” she said. “Each bucket has the ability to change someone’s life in their greatest moment of need. Thank you,” she concluded.
