Joyce Meyer Solicits Support to Feed 1000 Children a Year

Joyce Meyer Solicits Support to Feed 1000 Children a Year: Renowned author and speaker, Joyce Meyer has taken to social media to solicit support for Hand of Hope which is embarking on a fundraising event to feed 1,000 children for a year.

In a remarkable act of generosity and a move to alleviate hunger among children, Hand of Hope, the world missions outreach of Joyce Meyer Ministries has scheduled a fundraising event on Giving Tuesday.

The non-profit organization that relies on individual donations to provide food and spiritual nurturing to children in need launches the event in the hope of raising funds to feed 1,000 children for one year in their over 630 feeding centers around the world.

The outreach leader, Joyce Meyer however, is soliciting individuals’ support to enable them to achieve the goal.

“With over 630 feeding centers around the world, Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions is doing everything we can to stop hunger for children in need. But it wouldn’t be possible without you. That’s why we’re asking you to help us do even more! This Giving Tuesday, we are raising funds to feed 1,000 children for a year—a whole year.” Meyer wrote on Thursday’s Instagram post.

Concerned individuals are encouraged to visit joycemeyer.org/GivingTuesday to offer their donations.

In a Wednesday Instagram post,  Meyer explained that “every time you support Hand of Hope, you’re helping to feed tens of thousands of hungry kids.”

She further shared the amazing story of 14-year-old Mihidhum in Sri Lanka, who “usually only has one meal a day at home, but because of our amazing givers, he’s able to have lunch at the feeding center every day at his school, where he’s also taught about God and shown what His love looks like.”
