Joyce Meyer: The Journey To Spiritual Maturity (Part 1)

Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joyce Meyer titled The Journey To Spiritual Maturity” You know being spiritually mature is God’s will for us not remaining baby Christians, because little babies all their care about is themselves, but God actually wants us to get ourselves off our mind not be selfish and reach out to other people, help them and be willing to do whatever God wants us to do and help the kingdom grow.

There is nothing that makes you happier then helping other people, and you can’t be selfish and be happy at same time, some of us are unhappy and we can’t figure out why, it might just be because we care more about what God can do for us than what we can do for God.

God wants to transition us, where we can say “well now Lord, i appreciate all you’ve done in our life and that we want to be of service to him”

We can have a gift but no fruit, People who operate in gifts of the spirit they think they’re the mature group but that’s not true, a gift is given to us but fruit we got to put a little efforts into that, we have to work with the Holy Spirit. Everything we need is in us as a seed but we have to grow in those areas like patients, if we want patience then we got to be willing to have a problem first, If we want humility we got to be willing to apologize to someone we don’t want, when we are wrong.

1 Corinthians 3vs1-3 “however brethren i could not talk to you as the spiritual men but as to non-spiritual men of the flesh in whom the carnal nature predominates, i had to talk to you like mere infants in the new life in Christ”

If you want to locate how spiritually mature somebody is all you really have to do is to listen to them for a little while, because immature people complain.
