Laura Toggs Marks Her 37th Birthday
Daughter of popular Hillsong Church founder and co-founder of Parable Church Laura Toganivalu popularly known as Laura Toggs marks her 37th birthday today with an outpouring tribute from family and friends.
Celebrating Laura’s birthday on social media, her Father Brian Houston shared a heartfelt message expressing his immense pride and love.
“So today is my beautiful daughter’s birthday,” he wrote. “What a gift she is to all who know her. Gorgeous wife, mother, and church pioneer. I believe God has great things in store for her.” He concluded the post with a loving message, stating, “I love you Laura Toggs and I am so proud of you.”
The post however quickly garnered an outpouring of well-wishes and affirmations from followers, highlighting Laura’s positive impact on those around her.
“She has blessed our lives in ways she’ll never realize,” one user wrote. This has largely been through her work with Y&F. We know of many youth and adults who have been introduced or re-introduced to Jesus and His kindness through the music and personal examples of Y&F. Laura herself exemplifies the beautiful traits of the Savior in so many ways. We are grateful for her example of love, faith, and strength. Happy Birthday, Laura”

Laura’s husband Peter Toggs also celebrated his wife in a social media post. The post, which garnered significant attention, read: “Happy birthday @lauratoggs! The love of my life! You’re our Gal and we are very proud of you!! LOVE YOU!! Also, low key shoutout to Celine and Tay Tay.”
Peter and Laura Toggs previously served as global pastors of Hillsong’s youth ministry, Hillsong Young and Free. They resigned from their roles following the lead of Houston, who stepped down after facing some misconduct allegations. In 2023, the couple launched Parable Church in Sydney. Their new church however has seen rapid growth in its initial year.
