Lauren Daigle Emerged Billboard’s Top Christian Artist of the Year

Lauren Daigle Emerged Billboard’s Top Christian Artist of the Year: Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Lauren Daigle has been named  Billboard’s Top Christian Artist of the Year.

Daigle’s prestigious recognition comes as she continues to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and unwavering commitment to her faith.

Billboards consider her album Look Up Child as her achievement this year. The self-titled album which is her first since 2018 features 10 new songs.

Look Up Child by Daigle achieved an extraordinary feat by holding the top spot on the Top Christian Albums chart for an unprecedented 102 weeks. This remarkable achievement was fueled by the popularity of the hit single “You Say,” which dominated the Hot Christian Songs chart for an astounding 132 weeks. In 2023, “You Say” continued to reign supreme, maintaining its position as the most popular song on the Christian Streaming Songs chart and remaining a steadfast presence on the Top Christian Albums chart.

Speaking of the honor according to Billboard, Daigle said “It’s been an incredible year…New creative collaborators, a new producer, new writers and most of all new friends. Our fans on the road have been so incredible and we can feel their love and their energy every single night, and for me that connection (to our music) is inspiring.  I am so unbelievably grateful to them, to be able to do what I love and look forward to so much more in ’24.”

Daigle also took to Instagram to express gratitude to  to billboard and her supporters. She additionally thank God for another win.

“Thank you so so much this is an award I treasure from the bottom of my heart,”Daigle acknowledged in the Instagram video. ” I love it so much because it’s not popularity contest. The billboards award is because fans show up and show support for the thing I love to do. So thank you thank you,” she added
