Levi Lusko Mourns Late Father of His Birthday

Fresh Life Church pastor Levi Lusko took to social media on Thursday to commemorate what would have been his father, Chip Lusko’s, birthday.

In a heartfelt post, the pastor expressed his deep sorrow and longing for his father, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 72, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

“Happy birthday, Dad!” the pastor wrote. “I miss you so much. You have been in heaven 184 days and I have wanted to call you every single day

The absence of Chip Lusko, who would have turned 73 on Thursday has been keenly felt by his son, who admitted to wanting to call him daily to share life’s milestones. From his daughter’s graduation and college journey to the opening of the Whitefish building and the completion of his new book, the pastor yearned for his father’s presence and wisdom.

“To not have you there for these moments or to get to talk to you about them has really been sad,” the pastor wrote. He added that the absence of his father’s friendship and support has made him even more aware of their invaluable nature. “I think about you every day and miss you to my bones,” he expressed.

The pastor however found solace in the belief that his father is celebrating with his late mother and other loved ones in heaven. However, he emphasized that Lusko is also dearly loved and missed by his family and friends on Earth.

Levi Lusko, as the only child of Chip Lusko, shared a unique and intimate bond with his father. In his eulogy during his father’s funeral, Levi expressed the profound influence his father had on his life and career.

Levi choked back tears as he described Chip as his “best friend,” his “best man” at his wedding, and the first person he called when his daughter passed away.
