Levi Lusko solicits prayer for his father over a cancer diagnosis, thankful and optimistic about the 70-year-old healing.
In a Sunday Instagram post, the founder and lead pastor of Fresh Life Church requested prayer for his father who he disclosed has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Lusk further made known his father was hospitalized during Easter, in the course of which the “operable” tumor was discovered.
“Friends, will you please pray with me for my dad? He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we are asking for God to intervene and touch his body. The last few weeks have been a blur. He was hospitalized over Easter and it was God’s mercy that the tumor was discovered before it spread,” He wrote.
Levi however noted he has been praying for his father’s healing. “I sat with him for his first chemo this week, “he said. “And laid hands on him with thousands of other men who were gracious to lift him up asking God for healing at a men’s conference I was scheduled to be at that seems like an obvious divine appointment” he added.
Lusko also expressed gratitude to God for the “incredible treatment” his father is receiving. “The doors God has opened for expert opinions, [and] the fact that the tumor at this point is operable.”
Levi Lusko who apparently is hopeful and confident about his fathers healing, expressed his belief of his “70 years old incredible dad” regaining his health. “God is a way maker and no matter what, cancer doesn’t get the last word,” he said. “Whether medically, miraculously, or otherwise we know God has a plan and are so thankful for the hope that is ours,” he added. “Thank you for your prayers,” he said conclusively.
