Life Church Celebrates Over 2000 Baptisms: In a remarkable display of faith, more than 2,000 people at Life Church locations across the globe were baptized this past weekend.
Life Church founder and pastor Craig Groeschel took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the church’s recent wave of baptisms. He also shared a video clip recapping some of the amazing baptisms and faith moments that unfolded at the church locations during the weekend
The increase in the church’s baptisms is a testament to the growing revival movement that is sweeping through the church. People from all walks of life gathered for the declaration of faith.
A lady identified as Vanessa, who for the past year has actively served in the church’s online programs, reportedly flew all the way from Haiti to Edmond to get baptized.
Vanessa’s dedication to her faith and her desire to be fully immersed in the Life Church community are powerful examples for others. Pastor Groeschel admitted that her story is one of his favorites.
“One of my favorite stories is from Vanessa. This month marks one year of serving at Life.Church Online and she wanted to be baptized. So she flew all the way from Haiti to Edmond, Oklahoma to celebrate new life in Christ with her Life.Church family.” Groeschel noted in the statement.
“We’re not praying for revival. We’re living in the middle of one,” he added.
Life Church, which was founded in 1996, has today grown with a diverse group of people meeting in cities across the United States and around the world. In addition to his role as the church’s senior pastor, Groeschel has written several books, including his latest release, The Power to Change. He speaks at conferences around the world and also hosts the Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast.
