God’s plan from the beginning has always been partnership. We have the choice to simply walk in our identity as children of God or in the authority of being an heir in the kingdom of God. In this message, Pastor Mike illustrated what it means to seek the kingdom, be a partner, and walk in our authority so that we can not only share the kingdom but also claim our share of the kingdom.
According to Pastor Todd, the kingdom is not a religion. A religion is man’s attempt to fulfill the void that is missing. Unlike religion, the kingdom tells you who or what to be. Religion only tells you what to do. God is asking when the church will stop doing and begin being what God has called them to be.
The kingdom of God is here with us, but unfortunately it is covered by fear, depression, pervasiveness, and wrong doctrines. This is the reason why we have been asked to seek out the kingdom.
Going further, Pastor Todd gives us the strategy we can use to seek the kingdom of God. So, how do you seek God’s kingdom?
S – Surrender: If you are eager to seek the kingdom of God, you must learn to surrender your will. It doesn’t matter if you want to do “it” or if “it” is hard. Even Jesus had to surrender his will in the garden.
E – Establish Time: This is the second thing you have to do if you are serious about seeking the kingdom of God. There is no way you can effectively seek God if you do not make the time.
E – Expect Answers: You have to have the expectation that you are going to get answers. However, you have to be specific with what you are asking for. Even the Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace.
K – Keep Going: You must keep going, and this includes keeping going in prayer. When you keep on going, Matthew 7:7 will be given to you.
This is a message that will open your eyes.
