Isaiah 55:8-11
This weekend @stevenfurtick taught us about wasted rain. This morning I can’t stop thinking about it. Here are some highlights from my notes…
-The context of revival is repentance.
-God’s Word does not override your thought process. There is a forsaking before there is a fulfilling.
-What has God spoken into my life that I have let go down the drain?
-Rain is inconvenient. God is always speaking. Most of the words that God speaks are hard to receive.
-If your thoughts are programmed wrong, you can’t receive the Word.
-Rain brings revelation. It doesn’t bring something new. It reveals what’s already there.
-Isaiah 55 rain = truth
Matthew 7 rain = trials
-When you hit a storm you become a student. Don’t waste the rain. Steward the storm.
-The rain reveals the Rock.
