In Judges 6, Gideon asks the Lord a question we’ve all probably been guilty of asking in some way: “If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us?” Gideon was speaking of being defeated in battle at the hand of Midian. God replied, “Go in the strength you have.”
You might feel like a student driver in an area of your life. You might feel like you’ve been abandoned. You might feel like you’re not ready for this. That’s ok. Go in the strength you have. God is with you. God is for you. And if you mess up, God is patient with you.”
