Peter Toganivalu Sermons God In The Shadows
Today we are bringing another message from the Hillsong Church by Pastor Peter Toganivalu which is titled “God In The Shadows”. Today our text is reading from the book of John 1:4-5.
This sermon is a form of encouragement to us that even in our darkest moments that God is always in it with us. He is not just with us but he is working behind the scenes for us. Whenever we feel like giving up, quitting, let us remember that the book of Psalm 23 has a promise for us from God.
“Though I work through the valley of the shadow of death…Your rod and your staff comforts me”. That is the promise and it is a reminder that God is with you. Not minding that we live in a culture and a society that believe in seeing it. Our case is different because as believers we walk by faith and that is why we believe that God is still in the shadow working for us.
God is there for us doing something behind the scene. Just like the story of Joseph, while he was in prison, the bible records that God was still him.
Do not feel discouraged and don’t give up too early. Pastor Toggs tell us that shadows means that there is a light somewhere. There is a light nearby and that is God working in our life in the unseen.
