The scripture tell us the story of Mary and Martha, Martha was busy with something else while Mary was seated at the foot of Jesus. Pastor Peter tells us that the world we live in is a world of distraction. There are a lot of things that constitute distractions to us. The past, the future can distract us that we lose sight of what God is doing for us now.
Distraction is when we shift our attention from something of greater importance to something of lesser importance. The book of Hebrew 10:23-24 is telling us to avoid letting the loud culture distract us from the whispers of God. Let us keep our eyes fixated on none other than Jesus.
