Shepherd Bushiri Mandates Over 12000 Leaders at Church’s First Leadership Conference
Enlightened Christian Gathering Church led by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has unveiled a record-breaking attendance of over 12,000 international church leaders during its first annual leadership conference.
Highlight of the event however was the unveiling of the 2024 Ministry Mandate, setting a clear course for the year. Filled with pleasure, the global church leader bestowed a mandate upon attendees, calling them “stewards of the Ministry.”
“Finally, I have given a 2024 MINISTRY MANDATE to all my International Church Leaders who are called as stewards of the ministry,” Bushiri wrote in an Instagram statement announcing the significant event.
“I must admit, I was proud to see over 12,000 Global Leaders (Stewards) attending this year’s, first Leadership Conference.”
He went on to remind all participants that they have been sent to fulfill the “Jeremiah 1:10” mission: “to uproot, to tear down, to destroy, to overthrow, to build and to plant.” He also made known that he is set to actualize the goal using the “two fundamental principles; focus and growth.”
The preacher conclusively urged all the leaders to unleash their full range of spiritual gifts in ministry. “I once again, send you off to the world, go and minister with every spiritual gift in you,” he declared.
Shepherd Bushiri occupies a complex and controversial space in the global Christian landscape. His church, headquartered in South Africa is a non-denominational charismatic evangelical church. It is popular for its charismatic practices and claims of miracles. Notwithstanding, it boasts a significant population, spanning several African countries and reaching out to other continents.
Recently the church witnessed a staggering number of 23000 participants from across the globe at its new year service.
“We couldn’t even finish counting people but roughly 23,000 people came from different countries and the rest, from here, Malawi.”
“After all the battles our Prophet, Major 1, has been through, we still have such huge numbers following him both locally and internationally. Indeed, Jesus Christ is Lord,” Bushiri wrote in a recent statement shared on his Instagram.
