Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Steven Furtick titled, “This Perspective Can Change Your Year.”
Pastor Furtick teaches us that we may not always understand the reason for the things that happen in our lives, but we have to praise God for the result that will come from it. It takes faith for us to give thanks to God when things are not going the way we want them to.
Can you praise God for the result of a situation that is not yet resolved? God allows us to go through things so that he can show us a new level of his glory. The bad situations in our lives lead us to deeper strength in God when we believe in God. The deep work requires mature faith to be able to look at something bad in our lives and give thanks to God, believing that he has a reason for it.
Some of the things we would have prayed away are the instruments of change brought into our lives by God. We have to look 2023 in the face before it starts and declare to the devil that we are victorious, and we are not nervous, worried, or anxious because we know what God can do and we know how it will end. We have to learn to praise God when we are facing hard times, knowing that God will give us the victory. The devil hates it when we get glad about what our eyes have not seen and our ears have not heard.
We have to have the mindset of believing that God is going to get some glory out of everything we’ve been through, and he will give us victory at the end. The more difficult our circumstances, the greater God’s glory in our lives. We have to be glad that the pain in our lives has a purpose. Enough crying about the pain; we need to get our praise in order and be grateful for the purpose of the pain in our lives. We should make the right decision this year to give praise for everything we have been through for there is a purpose for the pain.
