One week after publishing his book, Disruptive Thinking: A Daring Strategy to Change How We Live, Lead, and Love, Bishop T.D Jakes, the author and founder of Potter’s House, a non-denominational global church in the US has taken to social media to announce that his most recent published book made the New York Times Best Seller list.
Jakes further expressed gratitude to supporters who he said made this possible. “Folks, we did it! “Disruptive Thinking” has made the New York Times Best Seller list! You made this happen. To all the thinkers, doers, and change-makers … THANK YOU!, he wrote.
Furthermore, emphasizing on his motives for writing the book, he stated “I wrote this book for you to use it. It’s a tool to help equip you with the mindset and dynamic strategies to take on a rapidly evolving world. That all starts in your mind.”
The Best-selling author went on to urge individuals to pick for themselves a copy of the informative and inspirational book. “run out and grab a bestseller at your local retailer, or go to DisruptiveThinkingBook.com,” he wrote.
Jakes published Disruptive Thinking on May 9. Jakes’s wife, Serita Jakes congratulating her husband noted in an Instagram post that she’s “not surprised” the book made New York Times Best Seller list. She went on to disclose Jakes had employed lots of “work” and “focus” while writing the book.
She wrote. “Congratulations to my husband, @BishopJakes — his new book, “Disruptive Thinking,” is a New York Times Best Seller! But I’m not surprised. I couldn’t be prouder of this man, thinking of all the focus and work he poured into this book. I love seeing him change the world!”
