There are people who serve with the purest of hearts and all they want is just for people to “Thank You”. The text for the message is from the book of Luke 17 and it tells the story of how Jesus was once unappreciated. Jesus healed 10 lepers and only one of the lepers returned to give thanks.
Jesus did not heal the lepers for selfish reasons but Jesus was also expecting that they’d come back to at least say “thank you.
Pastor Groeschel tell us that there are three things we should remember if we find ourselves in this kind of situation where you feel unseen.
- How they make you feel is not who you are
- Those you serve the most, often appreciate the least.
- What is most unseen by people is what is most significant to God.
He also tell us that you are who God says you are and not what people think of you.
