The World Will Disappoint You

The World Will Disappoint You

The world will disappoint you.

The World Will Disappoint You: The truth is that most of us trust our friends and families more than we trust God. In times of trouble, most of our friends can’t help us because they don’t have much power.

Many people in the past have been disappointed by people close to them, like families, friends, and their resources. There are people who depend more on their wealth than they do on God.

Our heavenly father wants us to put him first in everything that we do. Everything that we have here on earth is going to end here.

Trusting in the Lord is the best investment that any of us can make because God can never fail us. Even in times of trouble, he’ll make a way for us to make it through.

For everything that happens in our lives, our father is aware of them, and he allows them. Our duty as Christians is to please him all the time and to live a godly life.

The world is claiming that living a godly life is hard, but that’s a lie. Living a worldly life is harder because there will always be consequences.

There is nothing fun about worldly life, like
  • Addiction to drugs
  • Pornography
  • Gambling
  • Alcohol
  • Cheating
  • Stealing
  • Killing
  • Holding grudges, and so on.

Every ungodly life pattern was designed by the devil, and it’s being promoted to destroy many of us. We must be careful about our lifestyle and the people that we keep around us.

No matter how much the world tries to make the ungodly life fun, it will never work.

Do you know that Christians have more fun?

The World Will Disappoint You pt2

No one believes or knows that Christians are meant to have more fun, but it has to be godly. God has told us multiple times in the Bible not to worry about anything but to give it to him.

The world has to take alcohol and drugs to escape from their problems, but we have God to talk to.

Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Christians are not meant to live in worry, even when we are in the midst of troubles. The Holy Spirit is there to direct us in everything that we do and in making decisions that concern the future.

  • Romans 8:35–39: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,
  • Psalm 36:5–7: Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD.
  • John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
  • Romans 5:7–8
For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Isaiah 54:10
    For the mountains may depart
    and the hills be removed.
But my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed.”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
