, Pastor Osten started with the bible verse Paul prayed over the Philippians church. Philippians 1: which reads “I pray that your love would abound in knowledge and depth of insight”
Paul wrote this letter to tell to agree with him that your love would grow, increase, multiple. That what we need to pray every single day that our love would increase and grow. We need to learn how to love well because the way we love, how we show our love, the mercy we give, the grace we extend has a direct impact on our own life.
The way we love has a direct impact on our own life. We should not let our love to stay same in every situation. What we have got to understand that our love has to grow, mature, it has to develop in order for it to happen. We have to make commitment to love. It all about “commitment” “focus” and “determination”.
As people we evolve, we grow, we change that’s how our love has to be, developing and growing. Our situation changes, things in our life change, we should learn to make our love to fit every changes. Life changes, we change, we evolve and our love must be willing to evolve.
Love is smart, our love should see beyond the superficial, it should be able to see beyond what’s happening now.
Our love should not be limited to the love we are receiving or getting, we can’t set standard “if you give me, i will give you love” that’s not good. That not building that “foundation” that God wants to build in us.
When we decide to love better, no matter how we are loved, it does something in the inside of us, it strength our resolve, it causes us to be able to be better.
“Love doesn’t wait for things to happen” “It makes stuff happen”. Love builds relationships. It Serves, Love gives. Love is a feeling, but it is also an action. It can grow and it can fizzle out. Love Produces good fruits in your life. You will eat the fruits that you produce. You will not eat fruits you don’t produce.
In Conclusion, she added that the only way we can love “is to allow the love of God in us first”. We need the capacity of God to love, we can’t love on our own properly.
Jesus said that the most important commandment is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and with all our strength.
God is love when you come to him, you are coming to LOVE.
