What Are You Doing for God? Many Christians around the world truly believe that we don’t have to do anything to earn the grace of God. Yes, that’s true, but that does not mean that we should not try our best to advance the kingdom of our Lord God.
We, as children of God, have a duty to fulfill, which is to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Not doing anything in our lives to advance the kingdom of God is bad.
Yes, God is powerful, and he can do everything by himself, but he wants us to do things together with him. We humans are created in the image of God and in his likeness.
Our heavenly father loves us, and he wants us to have a close relationship with him. As his children, he wants us to involve him in everything that we do, and he wants to do it with us.
What we do for ourselves is really important because it shows that we acknowledge his goodness in our lives. Every morning when we wake up, let’s think about how we can make God proud.
We are all different and unique, so that means that we have something special to offer.
Do your duty.
It doesn’t matter if you have discovered your talents or gifts, but let’s do our best to obey God. Obedience to God is more worthy than sacrifice.
His commandments should be really important, and we must obey them if we love him. We can only obey someone we love and respect.
Our heavenly father has done his best to bring us back to him. In order for us to discover our special duty for Christ, we must make ourselves available by giving our lives to him.
Repentance is one of the important things we must do on our journey with Christ. If you have the gift of singing, don’t waste time singing to him.
- Do you have the gift of praying and prophecy?
- You can clean the house of God (temple).
- You can teach about the Bible.
- Try playing some instruments in the church.
- You can start by being a usher.
- Tell people about Jesus Christ.
- You can sing.
- You can teach little kids about Jesus.
- Feed the poor and cloth the naked.
There is no job or duty that is small in the house of God, so let’s stop making excuses. We must learn how to put our creator first in our lives because only he has the power of life and death.
No matter how busy our lives get, we must make time for God. Our Lord loves to spend time with him, so we can reach him through prayers and singing.
We must do our best to make sure that our attitude is reflecting Jesus. For we all are representative of our heavenly father so we must behave the right way and like Christ.
Our lives are going to change if we put God first in everything that we do. He is the creator of the universe, and he has the power to do whatever he wants.
