However, Joyce Meyer a Christian author and speaker who also is the leader of Joyce Meyer Ministries has taken to Instagram to share her opinion of why bad things happen to us even when we are following God. Additionally, she explained why we shouldn’t get mad at God during the hard times of our lives.
Speaking in a Saturday Instagram “today’s full show” Video titled Unshakeable Trust Part 3, Meyer contends that the reason why bad things happen is because of sins in the world. She noted that these sins sometimes are our own personal sins and sometimes not.
Joyce Meyer went on to admonish Christians who blame God for their bad experiences, arguing that some challenging times in our lives are a result of the wrong choices we made.
“I know that I Know God is good,” Meyer said. “And just because bad things happen that certainly is not an invitation to blame God.”
“The reason why bad things happen is because of sin in the world. It’s not necessarily our own personal sin. It can be, to be honest, sometimes. We have trouble in our life just because we do stupid stuff,” she explained.
Progressing in her teaching, Joyce Meyer asserts that the world would be much better if we all choose to follow peace.
