World Changers Church International, led by pastor Creflo Dollar, will be hosting its annual Feeding Families outreach event.
The non-denominational church based in College Park, Georgia, is inviting everyone to join the outreach scheduled to be held this coming Saturday. The event will provide those in need with all the food they needed.
“Happy Family! In your gratefulness, equip the spirit of giving! Join us for our annual Feeding Families outreach event,” the church announced on its Instagram page.
“On Saturday, November 18th from 9 am to 11 am, WCCI will provide those in need with all the food needed for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner,” it added.
As a result of the pandemic, which disrupted the previous year’s event, the church is expecting a lot of people to turn up for the event on Saturday.
“Due to the effects of the pandemic, we are anticipating a large attendance and need all of the support we can get,” a statement on the church’s website read.
The megachurch, however, is calling on concerned individuals to help those in need by donating or volunteering at the outreach event.
“To donate or volunteer text iCANHELP to 51555 or visit missions.creflodollarministries.org. If you or a loved one could use some help this Thanksgiving, register by texting FEEDINGFAMILIES to 51555,” it noted on Instagram post.
World Changers Church International is committed to serving the community and helping those in need. The outreach event is compelled by its vision to change the “immediate world and all those with whom we come in contact—ultimately making a mark that cannot be erased,” the vision statement on its website read.
The scheduled feeding families outreach, is one of the numerous ways the church demonstrates its love and compassion for others.
