Making new year’s resolutions helps us focus on ourselves and become better people.

God has given us the power to make decisions for ourselves, and with him, we can make good ones.

The new year can put us under pressure to make unrealistic goals for ourselves. We have to be careful about the goals that we are setting for the new year.

We have to depend on God and trust his power to help us through everything.

  1. Begin a gratitude notebook: Keeping records of things, people, and events for which we are grateful can help us improve our mental and physical health.
  2. Make time for your loved ones: Making time in our busy lives for our families and friends is really important for our mental health. This year, make an effort to make that one-on-one time, family dinners, or simply FaceTiming.

  4. Exercise mindfulness: Make an effort this new year to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness helps us control our anxiety. Practicing mindfulness means doing everything possible to be grateful for what you have in the present moment, where you are in life,

  8. Reduce your alcohol intake: Taking our health seriously is important for us this new year. Doing so helps to improve our mood,sleep, skin, and immune system.
  9. Follow a better sleeping schedule: Sleep helps to improve our health and our mood. We are to take our sleep routine seriously.
  10. Join a group: Interacting with people is really important in our lives. We have to make sure to find a good club or group that will help us become better.
