Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Creflo Dollar titled “Positioning Yourself to be Led by God.”
The message starts with Pastor Dollar telling us that Man is a spirit that possesses a soul and lives in a body. The real us is the spirit being. When we become born again, the spirit man becomes brand new; it’s made just like God, and we have to renew our mind so that it can line up with God’s ideas and his ways of thinking. Our mind is kind of the pilot seat for our life; when we renew our mind, we can now know the will of God in our life. And renewing our mind is not a one-time event; it is a lifetime process; it’s something that we do every day of our life.
Sometimes we think that once we are born again that everything will be right, but that’s not true. When we are born again, only our spirit is brand new; our mind still needs to be renewed, and we need to think differently.
What we think is what we are, and sometimes we are still stuck in an old mindset and still think the way we used to think 10 years ago, and things are still the same because our thinking is still the same. If you change the way you think, then we’ll change the way we live.
1 Corinthians 2:14: “Natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned.”
Something God will talk to us about, we will not understand because we have not spiritually discerned. God might tell us to forgive someone and walk in love, but we can’t understand because we have not renewed our mind.
God is trying to position us so he can direct our lives.
