Pastor Dollar tells us that we won’t see grace without the Holy Spirit, and we won’t see the Holy Spirit without grace. We can’t pick one and leave the other; grace and the Holy Spirit work together. The work of the spirit of God relates directly to the grace of God. It’s impossible to walk in the grace of God without the work of the Holy Spirit. Whenever the spirit of God is at work in us, it is the grace of God that is being provided; the Holy Spirit is building us because we are the church.
Rebuilding our lives is going to be done by the Spirit of God, not by our own effort. We must be built by the work of the Holy Spirit, and it can only be through grace. The Holy Spirit was sent to make sure that the grace of God can work in our lives.
We can’t take credit for anything when the Holy Spirit works in our lives; it’s our faith in him that causes grace to work on our behalf.Every improvement that has been made in our lives is the work of the Holy Spirit, and we should not be worried about the stuff that hasn’t improved yet in our lives because the Holy Spirit is still working on it.
We have got to become intimately aware of the Holy Spirit every day of our lives; religion will not take you where the Holy Spirit can take you. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to come in and be a part of our lives so that he can lead and guide us.
