Pastor Dollar continued with the teaching about understanding grace. After the cross, it was not about your performance; after the cross, it was all about his performance, in which he did a great job, and me believing him. How do you get saved? by believing in Jesus Christ, but don’t you have to do something? What are you going to do, and it’ll end up being phony and fake? What are you doing if you believe in Jesus Christ? We have to know that God gave us Jesus Christ so that we can have a close relationship with him. Paul and Silas You remember when the earthquake came in and the jailhouse doors opened, and the guard was freaking out. h He was like, m Man,they’re going to kill me for sure, and he asked, t Whatmust I do to be saved? do to have eternal life, and they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and if your house believes in the same way, then they shall be saved, but that’s not enough because conditioned into this self-performance mindset, believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is not enough. If you believe God, he’ll give you, he’ll lead you, and he’ll show you the things you need to do. First things first, believe God. After the cross, it was not about your performance; it was all about his performance, which he did a great job of, and you believing him. Don’t you have to do something? What are you going to do? f What are you going to do?What do you believe in Jesus Christ? See, people don’t go to hell for bad doing, and they don’t go to heaven for good doing. This is no longer factored into whether you go to heaven or hell based on whether or not you believed and received him as your sin sacrifice and the ransom paid, or whether you denied him.
